Tallo was started in 2025, with a goal to provide natural skincare at a price that can fit the budget, without any short-cuts on quality. 

I'm Shane Ferguson, and the reason for the creation of Tallo was a lifelong struggle with dry skin.

Going from one dry skin moisturizer to another as a kid, and eventually to prescribed products as an adult, nothing was helping the itching and redness. It wasn't until reading about natural remedies, and seeing content on social media, did I take a look into tallow balm being a possible fix. 

After doing some research online, and finding natural and grass-fed tallow in Central Ohio, I got to work. With the idea in my head that I need a stronger, higher-grade product, I was skeptical of how this would work. 

After a couple of trial runs, and a perfected recipe, I started to apply the whipped balm in small amounts in the morning and night. After a couple of days, the redness started to fade.

I wanted to create my own balm so I knew exactly where the ingredients came from. I knew what the cows were eating, where they lived, and knew where the oils were being sourced. Not only does the tallow benefit you, but even our essential oils are carefully selected for their therapeutic properties.
