Benefit: Promotes exfoliation (removes dead skin cells); evens skin tone; smooths the skin; antiaging effect.

Function: pH neutralizer that is also used to soften the tap water needed for our products.

Sodium Bicarbonate

Cas: 144-55-8

Source: Mineral

Benefit: Adds glow to the skin; mattifies oily skin; removes dead skin cells; helps fight skin infections.

Function: A mild cleanser that is used to break up oils and grease and is used to soften water. It also helps reduce bacteria that cause irritations and rashes.

Sodium Cocoyl Glutamate

Benefit: Cleanses the skin well; protects the skin from drying and retains the moisture content.

Function: A mild cleanser that helps oil-based and water-based ingredients to stay mixed. It has superior foaming properties and the ability to perform well at the skin pH.

Does the bottle have to be emptied before adding a new tablet?
We recommend emptying and rinsing the bottle before adding a new tablet.
Is Tallo hand wash hypoallergenic?
While we cannot claim that our hand wash tablets are hypoallergenic, we can confidently say that they are non-irritating and non-sensitizing. Furthermore, our claim is backed by clinical testing conducted at an independent third-party lab when we were formulating our hand wash.
Is Tallo hand wash an antibacterial or disinfectant?

Our hand wash does not contain any antimicrobial agents which are generally required to support disinfectant or antibacterial claims. Nevertheless, hand soaps, particularly those that contain surface-active agents, have been proven to be effective at removing dirt, including germs, from the surface of the hands being washed.

Is it safe for children and pregnant women?

Our product is free of harsh chemicals, making it safe to use around pregnant women, children, and animals. However, we recommend you consult your physician before using our product.

We recommend the use of fragrance-free products for your little one. Keep in mind that your child’s pediatrician or dermatologist is there to provide guidance on how to care for your baby’s skin.

Can I use the hand wash if there is some residue left?
Yes, it’ll dissolve. Despite some residue left behind, the hand wash is effective and ready for use. The residue will eventually dissolve!
Should I use cold or hot water to dissolve the tablet?
The tablets can be dissolved in either hot or cold water. We recommend dissolving them in room temperature water (tap water) to get a great rate without causing bubbles and overflow.
Do I need to shake the bottle when making the hand wash?
No. The tablets will disolve by themselves. Stirring it and shaking will form a lot of bubbles and might overflow the bottle.
Can I use the refill tablets without buying the bottle?
Yes, any bottle with a foaming pump nozzle will work.

Great product

It’s a great idea to make our hand soap more sustainable. The kit was very easy to use, all you do is add water to the fill line and drop in a tablet, I was able to dissolve my first tablet within 50 minutes. You can definitely feel it doesn’t dry out your hands, but I can’t wait to try it next winter. It is definitely a product I recommend for everyone to try!

The last two years have been filled with a lot of hand washing, and my hands were getting chapped. It feels very gentle and it’s definitely an upgrade to what I have been using at home.
